UNIT 5: Technologies in teaching accountancy

 

As the world developed the education system in Bhutan must also develop. In the case of accountancy subject use of a computer or any device is getting more popular or even a necessity in real-life work. I feel like using technology for example showing video and graphics is far much interesting for students these days. Studies have shown that students tend to never forget if what students learn is very interesting and if learning is like playing games. In this unit, we learned that there are far more apps or software which make projects or assignments way more easy like Canva. This was the first time I was hearing about it and it was mind-blowing. There was everything there and it was so easy to get access. I am also sure that using this kind of app or technology will make teaching as convenient and interesting as ever. We also learned Excel skills from Sir Purna which made me realize that Excel seems so simple but there are many things to learn from it. Maybe learning Excel is all that we need.
