Unit 4 Reflection

After I was done with unit 4 one of the most interesting that I found out was the case study. I have seen and done some case study work which was in the textbook but never ever have I thought that case study was this complex in making and how actually deep it was. Lots of details(realistic) was required and thought provoking was required. Just like case study simulation or role play was baffling to me. All this time I thought accounting was all about number and procedures to be used in class but now simulations are also there. This hit me really hard that times are changing and I have to learn,unlearn and relearn to adapt in this modern world. Maybe learning how to cope with AI will not make me lose my job compared to losing jobs to AI will also be the deciding factor in future. Well it might come sooner then everyone thinks. Another one is games. I thought if simulations can be used for teaching and then why not games also. It was not that suprising and yes games are always entertaining to play and learn as well. I feel like instead of memorizing and knowing the knowledge might not even last long time in our heads than compared to learning from games but applying the games to learn espically in accounting might be too difficult. As in case of teaching methods in deducting and inducting methos, it was very helpful in ways to teach and co-operate with students I think. Overall this unit was very enlighting to me and made me understand there is no one correct way for anything in this world.
