Unit 2

Reflection.

After learning this unit I understood how important curriculum framework is with the help of concept mapping. Everything had its purpose and meaning to follow in order. As a student in high school, I didn't give much thought to the curriculum but the creator/author of the curriculum had given so much in designing the curriculum and made sure it follow BAS standards for the benefit of the student. In this unit, I never thought that there will be many different kinds of teaching approaches and ways to assess a student. there were so many different teaching materials which were very interesting and effective too. It was also inspiring to see so many different articles and also see dedicated websites or organizations for accountancy on the internet with so many professionals dedicated to it. All I thought was "It was all about textbook and learning from it but times change so shall the way of teaching must also" is what it came into my mind when I was done with this unit. BAS standards will surly help students to adapt to this world is my final thought.
